On November 12th, 2025, I had the joy of documenting the sweetest milestone for the Castrejon Family as they welcomed their newest little love. This beautiful family of now four invited me into their hospital room at St. David’s Medical Center for a Fresh 48 session. Fresh 48 sessions capture those early, tender hours after birth when everything still feels brand new.
These sessions are some of my absolute favorites because they are filled with raw emotion and quiet moments that unfold naturally. With the Castrejons, there was such a peaceful spirit as mom and dad held their baby close, soaking in every detail, from tiny fingers to gentle breaths to the calm that settles in a room when a newborn is being loved so deeply.
One of the sweetest parts of this session was big brother stepping confidently into his new role. He was so excited to meet his baby brother, showing him his favorite new toys, holding him with so much care, and becoming protective anytime the baby fussed. His tenderness and pride were priceless, and watching that sibling bond begin was truly heartwarming.
This session was intimate, joyful, and full of love. I cannot wait for the Castrejon Family to look back on these images years from now and remember exactly how it felt in those first hours of becoming a family of four.
