On September 25, 2024, we celebrated a very special milestone—Ella turned one! For her milestone photoshoot, we went with a strawberry theme because, well, she loves strawberries. It was such a fun choice, and watching her interact with the setup was priceless. Photographing your own children is always a mix of joy and chaos because sometimes they don’t cooperate as well as you hope, but those candid moments are often the most precious.
At first, Ella was more interested in the grass than anything else! I started thinking maybe a farm theme would have been more fitting because I couldn’t keep her from munching on the grass. After a little while, it hit me—maybe she was just hungry! So, I gave her some strawberries, and let’s just say she was one happy camper. Of course, big brother Cameron had to join in on the strawberry-eating fun, and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome from the photoshoot. It was a sweet, memorable moment that I’ll treasure forever.
Fast forward to September 28th, when we celebrated Ella’s Berry First Birthday at the Batesville Community Center and Aquatics in Batesville, AR. We kept the strawberry theme going, which made decorating even more fun. When the birthday girl arrived, she was asleep—something I suspected might happen! She woke up in a mood, but after getting some food in her system, she was all smiles. Apparently, food is her happy place!
We had a wonderful time with family and friends, sharing laughs and making memories that I’ll cherish for years to come. We are so thankful for everyone who joined us in celebrating Ella’s special day. Here’s to many more sweet moments like these as we watch our little girl grow!
We couldn't have made Ella's Berry First Birthday so special without the help of some fantastic vendors. From the custom cake to the adorable decor, they brought our strawberry theme to life. If you're planning a party, check out these vendors for great service and quality!
